Few weeks ago my cousin Andre embarked on a trip of a lifetime, he was heading to the Cape Verde islands.Our family is originally from Cape Verde but none of our immediate family in America has been there since the 1930s. Cape Verde is a place I’ve read about in articles and only seen through pictures, plus the one episode of House Hunters International on HGTV (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrU1H3V3xzc). The island has had its share of financial problems but the weather and overall landscape along the shores is spectacular.
